Max Bregerie is a Paris-based Creative Producer, Director and Editor specialising in pop culture and entertainment.

His work spans television, branded content, documentary and social, combining storytelling with a strong visual approach.

STARTING WITH IMAGES

He began his career creating comedy-driven digital content with Dominique Farrugia, before joining Camille Combal’s daily show AZAP on W9, where he created everything from graphic parodies and photomontages to the show’s visual content.

He then spent several years working across television and production as a motion designer and graphic designer, developing projects for broadcasters including M6, France Télévisions and NRJ12.

His work gradually expanded beyond design and motion into branded content, directing projects for brands including Samsung, Dior and Coca-Cola, as well as content for the esports scene.

from design to direction

He later moved into creative production and directing, leading pop culture shows including Le Burger du Mois, Joe & Nico and Pop Life.

The latter marked a turning point: developed from the ground up, the show brought together editorial development, writing, directing, visual identity and post-production under one creative vision.

telling longer stories

This approach led to a series of pop culture documentaries — Joe & Nico at NYCC, My Sweet 30 and Ready Cosplayer One - which he co-wrote, directed and edited for MCM.

It also paved the way for his first fully independent project, Drag Save The Queen, a documentary about the French drag scene which he wrote, directed and edited himself.

building something of my own

Following the commission of a second season, he founded his own production company, The Pop Agency, which later evolved into Pop Models, France’s first drag talent agency.

Through it, he has since developed and produced an extensive body of work ranging from branded campaigns and social films to original

entertainment formats and stage visuals, working with some of the most prominent performers to emerge from Drag Race France.

Across all of these projects, pop culture remains the common thread - with a practice built around taking ideas from their earliest concept through production, directing and post-production to the final image.
