Ready Cosplayer One follows Joe & Nico to Chicago, where they meet Lunneth, crowned France’s best cosplayer in 2018, as she competes in the Crown Championships of Cosplay.

Alongside her, the documentary follows three other competitors from different backgrounds, exploring what cosplay brings to their lives - their hopes, anxieties, personal struggles and the meaning they find in their passion.

Across three days of competition, their stories unfold both on and off stage, revealing the people behind the costumes and what drives them to create, perform and compete.
